Cookies in the Statistics category are only set after you explicitly click Accept all or Save preferences in our cookie banner. Before that choice, everything defaults to "consent denied" (Google Consent Mode v2). If you refuse, or do nothing, it stays that way.

venuvo.com sets no advertising, retargeting or social-login cookies. We use no Facebook Pixel, no Google Tag Manager and no Hotjar.

Strictly necessary (always on).

• dispatch_consent_v1 — our own first-party cookie holding your choice, a timestamp and the schema version. Retention: 12 months. Set by: venuvo.com.
• PostHog (cookieless) — product analytics with no cookie and no localStorage item, EU-hosted (eu.i.posthog.com), not linked to your identity. This is the state as long as you give no consent.

Statistics (opt-in). Purpose: aggregated visitor statistics used to improve the site.

• _ga — Google Analytics, distinguishes unique visitors. Retention: 2 years. Set by: Google LLC.
• _ga_<property> — Google Analytics 4, session state. Retention: 2 years. Set by: Google LLC.
• PostHog — switches from cookieless mode to a persistent identifier in your browser; a session replay of your visit may be recorded.

Marketing (opt-in). No advertising tag sits behind this category on venuvo.com today — no Google Ads, none other. Your choice is stored, but activates nothing here.

So that measurement lines up correctly once you consent, the Google tag is already loaded before you choose — in the "consent denied" state. In that state it writes no cookie, uses no persistent identifier and does not identify you; only a technical, cookieless signal reaches Google. If you consent, that same tag then starts measuring and storing.

Google processes measurement data in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; we additionally rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Cookie preferences at the bottom of every page: on withdrawal we reload the page and active trackers stop; existing cookies can be removed through your browser settings.

Your browser temporarily remembers basic settings (language, form fields while you are typing) — these are strictly necessary techniques that make the site work and require no separate consent. As soon as you send your request, the data you entered is stored in our back end (see privacy policy).
